Westmoreland-born Reggae singer Khalia releases new lover’s rock single and video for track Love Is Real.
The singjay belts “love is reaaaal, and I can feeeeel it” on the feel-good, catchy chorus of the Tony ‘CD’ Kelly-produced track. The artiste snuggly communicates the simplicity and depth of an effortless love over a classic, captivating K-Licious Music instrumental.
The video was shot during the ongoing quarantine period that has been brought on by the novel coronavirus global pandemic. Visuals show Khalia in lingering aerial shots, depicting rural landscape as well as interacting with waves on an enthusiastic shoreline. The video, also, curiously, incorporates animated – Khalia‘s lead – and live-action elements.
Love Is Real follows the popular Easy, which came out earlier this year.
Previously based in UK, for more than a decade, Khalia returned to Jamaica several years ago to pursue a career in music.
