The audience had guests from Jamaica and the US but it was the fans of Keith Sweat from the United States who got down and really know how to enjoy themselves as each time the DJ kept spinning the best of 90’s R&B & Hip-Hop they put down what they was eating and jumped up and danced.
The comedy feature started at 9pm and was hosted by Atlanta radio host Wanda Smith of V103 who asked the a few women in the audience to get on stage and take part in a dance competition to Khia’s My Neck song which was funny.
The first comedian Double D from Atlanta was funny for about 10 mins but didn’t move our table as much. BTW we was on the same table as Sisqo of Dru Hill.Mississippi born comedian JJ Wilson was up next and had the audience cracking up from start to finish from talking about his wife’s cooking, the cheque he was getting from Keith Sweat, and his impression of Wayne Wonder’s No Letting Go song in which he would do a dance to each time he sung out Wayne’s intro to the song. Wayne Wonder was also in the audience with his wife laughing hard also. Keith Sweat came up on the stage after the set and thanked all of his friends, family and the artists who came out and told the audience that it is important to cherish the love ones that you have as he recently lost his mother and sister a few months ago.
Great words to end a fun night!
