Courtney John’s hit single Lucky Man from his Made In Jamaica album can be heard in the newly released movie Chef.
Chef is written and directed by Jon Favreau who also stars in the film alongside Sofia Vergara, John Leguizamo, Bobby Cannavale, Dustin Hoffman, Oliver Platt, Emjay Anthony, Scarlett Johansson and , Robert Downey Jr. The movie follows a chef who quits his job at a prominent Los Angeles restaurant after refusing to compromise his creative integrity for its controlling owner. The comedy premiered at this year’s SXSW Film Festival and will be released in select theatres on May 9 by Open Road Films.
