The live music scene has been given a shot of adrenaline thanks to the promoters of the Live from Kingston series. The fourth in the series is set to unfold on Saturday February 8 at the Gardens of the Pegasus hotel in Kingston.
Billed to perform are Billboard charting artiste Protoje, Chino McGregor, Hempress Sativa, Keznamdi and Sevana.
Established by Protoje and Jason Panton of clothing brand I&I and Jamaican street wear shop Base Kingston with the goal of further promoting live reggae music in Jamaica, Live From Kingston serves to spotlight emerging talent while giving platform to established musical artists.
Best described as a pop up show platform for reggae music locally, Live from Kingston has already featured a number of stellar acts including Chronixx, Iba Mahr, Keida, Blu Kid, Romain Virgo and Kabaka Pyramid among others.
The February 8 staging of the event is powered by Red Bull. It will be held from 8 PM until 12 midnight. Admission to this edition of Live from Kingston is by donation only.
