The hills of Holywell are alive with the rhythm of Reggae.

Bombrush Records and Jamaica Conservation and Development Trust (JCDT) will host the inaugural Blue Mountain Music Festival on February 22-23, 2014. The festival boasts two days of a hybrid of music, culture and outdoor adventure, set against the panorama of the Blue and John Crow Mountains of Holywell Recreational Park, overlooking Kingston and St. Andrew.

Blue Mountain Festival is an official Reggae Month event, promising an array of activities including hiking, camping, yoga and of course, musical performances.

The Reggae Party kicks off on February 22, with gates opening at 2pm and showtime  starting at 7pm. The Party features performances by the legendary Third World, Tanya Stephens, Chronixx and Kabaka Pyramid.

On February 23, gates will open at 11am, with showing starting at 2pm, featuring performances by T.O.K, NoMaddz, Kelissa and Jesse Royal.

The Blue Mountain Music Festival will be the first event of a week-long series of activities celebrating the 21st Anniversary of the designation of the Blue and John Crow Mountains as a National Park.
