We are here just to give you a quick run down of who was good, wack and great!
Dancehall Night – There was no worries from the Ladies of Dancehall Vanessa Bling or Gaza Slim, Spice but Lady Saw was just amazing she closed the night and proved why she is the Queen of Dancehall. Out of all the men that performed we will have to give it to Popcaan.
International Night 1 – Great performances from Reggae’s new generation Raging Fyah, Kabaka Pryramid, and Jesse Royal. Rapper & actor Common gave a Stella performance and his backup singer was on the mouths of everyone after the performance. Most Jamaicans didn’t know most of Common’s songs but was still glued to watching him and his tight band. We was glued… just to look at all his yummyness! Common told our oDessa that he has just signed a major deal will a We have never seen T.I. perform before but wasn’t disappointed as the brother has such good energy on stage.
International Night 2 – We missed a lot of the early acts but got to see one of our favourite Jamaican singing groups L.U.S.T and some of the acts of the Pepsi Refresh Tour. After L.U.S.T was a Canadian singer called Zhavea. She looked great and had some great Jamaican dancers backing her but should have been put on way before L.U.S.T or the Pepsi Refresh Tour acts. We would say more, but it wouldn’t be nice.
We was told by the festival organisers that Rick Ross is booked for next year as he couldn’t make it for this year’s festival, he was actually missed.
