Rick Ross was scheduled to perform at Reggae Sumfest on Friday July 17th, 2015, but had to be dropped from performing on the Greatest Reggae Show on Earth.
The rap mogul was released on a 2 million dollar bail from jail for kidnapping and aggravated assault and is currently under house arrest.
Rick Ross is saddened that he cannot be in Jamaica to perform for his fans on July 17th but he looks forward to coming back to Jamaica in the near future. His management extends a heartfelt thank you to all fans for their continued love and support, on behalf of the artiste.
Summerfest Productions sincerely apologizes to its valued fans, sponsors and other supporters. The team recently told OAJ that the suitable replacement will either be Chris Brown or TI.
Chris Brown has performed on the Reggae Sumfest stage before and bought the house down and TI was recently in the city of Reggae Sumfest Montego Bay on vacation with his family.
