Chaka Khan, Toni Braxton & Beres Hammond Headline Jamaica Jazz & Blues Festival 2014

Music lovers are in for a treat as the annual Jamaica Jazz & Blues Festival will once again unfold. As is expected from the festival’s reputation, several international headliners have been announced for the 2014 festival. Slated to perform are the legendary acts Chaka Khan and Aaron Nevillesix-time Grammy winner Toni Braxtoncountry- pop icon Crystal Gayle,  soul singer Mary Wilson, the 2009 Best Urban/Alternative Performance Grammy awardee Chrisette Michele and R&B heart throb, Joe.

The 2014 staging will also see remarkable reggae offerings from Roots Reggae to the recent Reggae Rebirth. This 18th staging will see the return of Jamaica’s beloved Beres Hammond, who last performed at the Festival in 2008.  Also billed for the 2014 staging is young lion, Protoje and the Indiggnation Band.

The event takes place from Thursday, January 30, 2014 to Saturday, February 1, 2014 at the Trelawny Multi-purpose Stadium.

General admissions are available starting at US$50 for Thursday and US$80 for Friday and Saturday. General admission weekend passes are available for US$155 which allows entry on Friday and Saturday while the general season pass is only US$200. Daily VIP passes are available for US$120 with VIP weekend passes being sold for US$230 with the VIP season passes on sale for US$350.
