New York celebrates it and so does Jamaica. Fashion’s Night Out Jamaica is organised by the Jamaica Observer Newspaper and the idea of style & lifestyle senior editor Novia Mc Donald-Whyte.
Novia a regular to Fashion Week NYC wanted Jamaican’s to experience a little of what Fashionista’s in New York do, and bought the concept to Jamaica which is now in its fourth year.
On Thursday Sept 6, 100 stores & boutiques across the island will remain open from 5pm – 10pm offering major discounts.
Here are some of my favourite shops that I will be passing by:
-KERRY ManWomanHome will be have great deals on high fashion the boutique offers as well as feature Project Runway All Star, Jerell Scott and will have the limited edition collection by Cedella Marley in their Made In Jamaica pop up shop.
-No7 Boutique will have 40% off all their merchandise as well as a special unplugged performance by reggae singer I-Octane.
-Grandeur the $1000 Jamaican dollar store will be offering discounts from 20% – 75% as well as complimentary drinks and the latest in house music spun by Jamaica’s top house DJ’s.
