Oh Lawd: IOC Not Happy With Yohan Blake For Wearing A Custom $500,000 Watch In 100M

As he gears up for his 200M Final Run this afternoon with training partner Usain Bolt, Yohan “The Beast” Blake could be fined for wearing a custom $500,000 US watch by designer Richard Mille.

The customised sports watch is in yellow and green is a one-of-a-kind piece and was designed specifically for Blake to wear at the Games.

Blake followed through on his part of the bargain, by wearing the watch during the semi’s and finals of the 100M and now could be in some trouble with the IOC Officials who have strict regulations about what athletes are allowed to wear while competing at the Games. According to strict sponsorship regulations, Olympic athletes are only allowed to wear gear that is part of their country’s sponsored apparel.

Omega is the official watchmaker of the London 2012 Olympics and Richard Mille is not.

It is said that Blake might face a huge fine for this.

Oh Lawd!!!
